At Restore Smiles in Norman, we built our Norman dental technology around two goals at once: seeing your mouth more clearly, and making the appointment itself easier to sit through. Better information up front usually means fewer surprises, shorter chair time, and results that hold up longer.

Imaging that shows the whole picture
Cone beam CT (3D) scans
A cone beam CT scan builds a three-dimensional model of your teeth, jaw, sinuses, and nerves in a few seconds. It shows bone volume and root position that a standard X-ray cannot, which is what makes precise, guided implant placement and airway evaluation possible. Because we can measure before we plan, there is less chance of a surprise mid-procedure.
Digital X-rays
Digital X-rays swap film for a sensor, so images appear on screen right away and use less radiation than older film systems. We can enlarge them to catch early decay or a hairline crack, and because the picture sits on the monitor beside you, it is easy to see exactly what we see. Spotting a small problem early keeps your routine checkups short and your treatment simple.
Digital impressions without
the messy trays
Our iTero scanner replaces putty-filled trays with a small wand that photographs your teeth and builds an exact digital model on screen. It is quicker, easier to sit through, and more accurate, which means crowns, retainers, and clear aligners fit better the first time and need fewer adjustments. You can watch the scan take shape, so the plan is easy to follow.
Guided implant surgery and metal-free options
Placing an implant well comes down to position and angle, not just the implant itself. We combine the cone beam scan and digital impressions to map the exact location of each dental implant before your appointment, then follow a custom surgical guide during placement. Guided surgery generally means smaller incisions, more predictable healing, and a final tooth that lines up with your bite.
Ceramic (metal-free) implants
For patients who want a metal-free option, we place Z-System ceramic implants alongside traditional titanium. Ceramic implants are tooth-colored and biocompatible, which fits the whole-body focus of our practice. Not every case calls for ceramic, and we will tell you honestly which material suits your bone and bite.

Why do we use ozone and biologic support?
Ozone is a form of oxygen that neutralizes bacteria, and we use it to disinfect teeth, gum pockets, and surgical sites during treatment. It lets us clean an area thoroughly with fewer harsh chemicals, which fits the whole-body approach behind our holistic care. For healing, we also spin platelet-rich fibrin from a small sample of your own blood in an in-office centrifuge, and we use red-light therapy after surgery to support recovery. These are the same biologic tools we reach for during implant and oral surgery.

If you do not have insurance, our self-managed in-house membership plan covers preventive visits at a predictable yearly cost. Frequently Asked Questions
Does all this technology make my visit more expensive?
No. We do not add a separate charge for using our equipment; it is simply part of how we care for every patient. If you are planning a larger treatment, we offer financing through CareCredit and Cherry and an in-house membership plan for patients without insurance, so cost is easier to manage.
Are digital X-rays and cone beam scans safe?
Yes. Digital X-rays use less radiation than the older film they replace, and we only capture the images we need to diagnose and plan your care. A cone beam CT is used when a 3D view genuinely changes the plan, such as before implant surgery or an airway assessment.
Do I need a special appointment to benefit from your technology?
No. From your first exam onward, digital imaging and scanning are part of routine care for both new and existing patients. You do not have to book anything unusual to get the benefit of a clearer, more accurate picture.
